Available Adult Female Beagle

I’m looking for a loving home for Megan, a three year old beagle I rescued from a hunter a couple of weeks ago in Pennsylvania. She was neglected, scared, and emaciated. She broke my heart and I just couldn’t walk away from her. I brought her home with me and have been working with her everyday. She’s come so far in such a short amount of time that I feel we can start looking for her forever home. She’s gained some weight and is gradually coming out of her shell. I’m pleased to say, everyday is better then the day before.

Megan has been totally enjoying her steady meals, which gives me such a feeling of satisfaction. Her tail wags a million miles an hour keeping in time with each chew. Still on the lean side, but believe me, she’s come a long way since the day I brought her home.

Megan is very affectionate and totally responds to a loving touch...... She has bonded with me very quickly and will have no problem bonding in a new home. She’s a very loving, trusting dog, and will win you over when her loving eyes look up at yours. It’s enough to melt your heart away.

I want to find Megan the right home. Her new owners will need to know that she is going to need a little time, patience, and understanding, but it will definitely be well worth the effort. She’s very, very sweet and I believe she will make a wonderful house pet....
